INFORMATION NOTE FOR TIME TRIAL AND CRITERIUM ON 12 APRIL 2025
The FSCF Road cycling Time Trial and Criterium series consisting out of 3 races and the Free State Championship. This is the final event. It is important to note that only participation in the correct distance per category will earn points for the series. Participation in 2 out of the 3 events is compulsory to come in contention for Free State colours.
Please also note the following FSCF general requirements to qualify for provincial series points;-
UCI Rules will apply for the Junior, Elite and older categories. All other categories fall underthe Cycling-SA Rules.
Cyclist must be in possession of a valid annual CSA Membership Licence.
Cyclist must be affiliated to the Free State Province on the above-mentioned Membership /License.
Cyclist must reside in Free State to qualify for series points, everybody may participate but will not qualify for points.
Only on-line entries before the closing date on 2025-04-09 will count towards series points or podium positions.
Late entries will not count towards series points or podium positions.
Day License riders or riders without CSA membership do not qualify for series points or podium positions and will be categorized as social riders.
The Time Trial starting times will be communicated of 2025-04-12 and the first rider will start at 08:00 at Hacienda Padel, Kroonstad.
The Criteriums will start from 14:00 on 2025-04-12 at School of Engineers, Kroonstad

13:00 – Start of the Criterium of U/11 Girls, U/11 Boys, U/13 Girls and U/13 Boys.
13:25 – Start of the Criterium of U/15 Girls, U/15 Boys, U/17 Girls, 60-69 Women,
70+ Women & 70+ men.
13:55 – Start of the Criterium of U/17 Boys, Junior Women, Elite & U/23 Women, 30-39 Women,
40-49 Women, 50-59 Women and 60-69 men.
14:30 – Start of the Criterium of Junior Men, Elite & U/23 Men, 30-39 Men, 40-49 Men and
50-59 Men.
